Simulation Students:
In addition to the full software available free for your use in the school’s computer labs, Simio LLC offers you the option to also install Simio on your personal computer. Unlike other similar academic software, the Simio Student Edition is equivalent* to the $10,000 Simio® Design Edition plus OptQuest. The $25 cost for one year of use includes a nearly 1,300-page reference guide, over 200 training SimBits, the Rapid Modeling Solutions: Introduction to Simulation and Simio e-book, and access to selected training videos located in the Support Tab in Simio.

1) Purchase the Simio Student Version with your Paypal account. https://www.simio.com/academics/order-academic-software/student-edition-order.php
2) You will receive a confirmation email at the email address associated with your Paypal account. If you cannot find the email, check your spam or contact customer_service@simio.com with provide your PayPal transaction ID or receipt.
3) Download and install the software. Apply the activation code per the instructions in the email.
4) When prompted, enter your pass phrase and pass code credentials. These credentials are supplied directly to the instructor in the grant letter containing the activation key. Please contact your professor if you have not received these credentials. The credentials will provide software good for one year from the purchase date. If you have any questions regarding your credentials, contact academic@simio.com.
